The Globe Rocket ring cake pan is a food-grade aluminum tube-style baking pan available in 8-inch, 9.5-inch, and 11.2-inch sizes, with published measurements and batter capacities for each size.
Materials & ConstructionThe Globe Rocket ring cake pan is made from food-grade aluminum. Aluminum is commonly used for baking pans because it heats quickly and conducts heat efficiently. That makes it a practical material for ring cakes, pound cakes, flan, and chocoflan.
There's no nonstick coating on the pan, so it should be properly greased and floured before baking, or prepared with caramel for flan-style bakes. Because the baking surface does not rely on a nonstick coating, there is no coating to peel or wear away.
Full physical measurements — top rim, base, depth, and center tube diameter — and batter capacity are published below for all three sizes.

Wash the pan with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge before its first use and after baking. It is not dishwasher safe, so hand washing is recommended. Dry the pan immediately after washing rather than leaving it wet.
Because the pan has no nonstick coating, avoid steel wool, metal scrubbers, or harsh abrasive powders, which can scratch the surface. Proper greasing and flouring, or preparing the pan with caramel for flan-style bakes, can help with release and reduce the need for aggressive scrubbing.
